Welcome to my website.  My name is Leslie Graves.  I love teaching at Brock Elementary.  We have the best staff and students anywhere!

A little about me:  I have been married to my husband for 25 years and we have 3 children.  I went to the University of North Texas and received a bachelor's degree in fine art.  At the same time I received my teaching certification to teach art at all levels.  While I was in college, I was able to take classes in drawing, painting, design, art history, ceramics, sculpture, fabric design and printmaking.  Three years ago I went back to school and took a year of photography classes.  Needless to say, I enjoy all types of art!  I have a love for teaching children to use their creative abilities.  Art can be a positive experience for all kids and they learn while having fun.

     On a personal note, I have been teaching children through a ministry called Mission Arlington for the past 12 years.  I love to travel and take lots of photographs.  I hope one day to have photographs in the National Geographic!
